The Association
From the beginning to our day
Vivre à plein temps was set up in may 2002. This non-profit association is governed by a board which consists of a President, Treasurer, Secretary and members.
The board's mission is to control the accounts, put in place future projects and plans, and to represent or help the educator with her contacts with diverse organisations and administrations.
From 2002 to 2010 the association had for principal task the gestion of a "lieu de vie et d’accueil" recognized and conventionned by the Aude county council to take in 3 youngsters

The association was recognized by the C.R.O.S.M.S. (Comité Régional de l'Organisation Sociale et Médico-Sociale) on april 7th 2008, social section, for people with social difficulties or children within the jurisdiction of a protection administrative.
Since summer 2010 after obtaining an agreement from "jeunesse and sports" and after becoming affiliated to the french equestrian federation the association has changed direction and in august 2010 the lieu de vie et d'accueil ended and the association now offers these new services.

A sensory trail has been developped in the shady park of the estate.
In the heart of nature and animals, all can find new values. The horse an imposing, majestic, sensitive creature dicts his own rules.
Horses have their own language, that need to be studied to be understood. Horses need to be loved but also need someone firm that will not let them get away with everything. The horse does not judge anyone, they either submit or defend themselves. Only love and respect will enable one to have a good relationship with the horse.
